For the State : Mr. Shailesh Kumar Sinha, A.P.P. ----- 02/ 25.04.2025 Heard the parties. 2. This anticipatory bail application under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita (BNSS), 2023, has been preferred by the petitioner apprehending his arrest for offences registered under Sections 25(I-B)a, (1-A), 26(2), 35 of the Arms Act and 17 of CLA Act in connection with Balumath PS Case No. 182 of 2019 corresponding to G.R. The said person who was caught has disclosed that the petitioner was one of his associates. Though the petitioner is not named in the FIR but considering the nature of the allegation and the involvement of the petitioner as narrated by the co-accused petitioner’s presence is necessary for the purpose of investigation. 4. Learned A.P.P. representing the State opposes the prayer 2025:JHHC:12461 2 for anticipatory bail. 5. Considering the fact that presence of the petitioner is necessary for the purpose of investigation, this is not a fit case for grant of anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 6. Accordingly, this Anticipatory Bail Application stands dismissed. (ANANDA SEN, J.) Tanuj/Cp-3
