The cause of action on the basis of which the petitioners had come forward with writ petition WP(C) No. 2662/2025 was relatable to the land which is said to have been appropriated for the construction of roads under PMGSY in district Udhampur (Sub-Division, Dudu). 02. At the relevant point of time, the construction of the roads was being done and supervised at the level of Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division, Ramnagar and that is the reason that the petitioners came to name the Serial No. 04 Regular List 2 CM No. 7242/2025 in WP(C) No. 2662/2025 respondent No. 6-Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division, Ramnagar. 03. The writ petition came to be disposed of without adjudication on merits in terms of an order dated 26.09.2025 with a direction to the writ respondents to treat the writ petition as a representation of the petitioners and accord consideration under rules/law within a period of six weeks. 04. The petitioners at their end are said to have served the writ respondents with copy of the order as well as the writ petition which was meant to be considered as a representation. 05. Now, the petitioners have come forward with an application CM No. 7242/2025 stating that at present it is now the Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division, Udhampur instead of Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division, Ramnagar who is related with the area in reference. 06. Therefore, not only the amendment of the writ petition is to be carried out by reading the name of respondent No. 6 to be as Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division, Udhampur but also even the orders also. 3 CM No. 7242/2025 in WP(C) No. 2662/2025 07. This Court sees no basis for the petitioners to come forward with the application as it is the duty of the Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division, Ramnagar to apprise the Chief Engineer, PMGSY (JKRRDA), Jammu so that the matter may be referred to the Executive Engineer, PMGSY, Division Udhampur, since, the issue presently pertains to the land and roads falling within that jurisdiction. Although, at one point of time, it is the Executive Engineer, PMGSY Division, Ramnagar which was dealing with the matter at an earlier stage, now it no longer relates to said division.
