Petitioner has been made accused in connection with Arki P.S. Case No. 06 of 2025 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 18 of 2025, for the offence registered under Section 18(B) of the N.D.P.S. Act, pending in the Court of learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Khunti.

On 25.01.2025 at about 9.00 pm, Arki Police destructed the opium cultivation from Dundupidi forest area.

It was submitted that on seeing the police party, out of fear the petitioner started fleeing away from the place of occurrence, due to which he has been made accused. It was further submitted that the petitioner has got no criminal antecedent.

In view of the submission made above, I am inclined to enlarge the petitioner on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, above named, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bonds of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees twenty thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Special Judge, NDPS Act, Khunti, in connection with Arki P.S. Case No. 06 of 2025 arising out of N.D.P.S. Case No. 18 of 2025.
