3. Petitioner made a complaint to the Banking Ombudsman. His complaint has been rejected by the Banking Ombudsman (respondent no. 1), vide
order dated
18.10.2021. Thus, feeling aggrieved, petitioner has approached this Court.

Learned counsel appearing for the State Bank of India / respondent no. 2 submits that as per the Banking Ombudsman Scheme, 2006, petitioner has remedy of filing Appeal before the Appellate Authority under para 14 of the aforesaid Scheme. He submits that limitation for filing such Appeal is thirty days, which can be condoned in appropriate cases.
5. This submission is not disputed by
learned counsel for the petitioner.
6. Since remedy of Appeal is available to petitioner against the impugned
order, therefore, the writ petition is disposed of by permitting the petitioner to approach the Appellate Authority, as per the Scheme. If petitioner files Appeal, within four weeks from today, the same shall be heard and decided on merits by giving benefit of Section 14 of Limitation Act.
