Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition has placed on record a copy of the written instructions received from the 4th respondent, dated 20.02.2025. A perusal of the same would reveal that at present there is no need for acquisition of the subject land and the notification issued for acquisition was already lapsed. 4. The written instructions of the 4th respondent, dated 20.02.2025 are placed on record. 5. In view of the foregoing, the Writ Petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
