Roy, learned State counsel for the respondents. 3. The present writ petition is filed alleging that the respondent Police Authorities are not conducting fair, proper and prompt investigation of the case, i.e., Dibrugarh P.S. Case No. 35/2020, which was registered under Sections 120(B)/302/201 IPC. 4. Mr. Roy, learned State counsel has produced a copy of the status report dated 20.06.2025 under the signature of the Superintendent of Police, Dibrugarh, as sought for earlier by this Court, which goes to show that the aforesaid Dibrugarh P.S. Case was ended up vide Dibrugarh P.S. Final Report No. 1012/2021 dated 30.10.2021. However, by order dated 21.06.2023, the learned Chief Judicial Magistrate, Dibrugarh directed for re- investigation of the case. Accordingly, the investigation of the aforesaid case is going on. 5. Be that as it may, as none appears for the petitioners on call, this writ petition stands closed for non-prosecution. 6. Copy of the aforesaid status report be kept on record.
