The land of the petitioner's father was acquired for construction of Sanjay Gandhi Post Graduate/ Medial Institute of Sciences at Lucknow in 1983. The father of the petitioner died on 03.04.2024. After the death of father the son has filed this writ petition seeking appointment in lieu of the land bearing Gata No. 109, 111, 1433M situated at Village- Kalli Paschim, Pargana Bijnor, Tehsil and District- Lucknow having been acquired as aforesaid. On being asked learned counsel for the petitioner says that his father was paid compensation. We asked as to how this writ petition is maintainable and under which law such appointment is being sought that too after almost 40 years, especially, when the petitioner himself was born in 1993, he had no answer.
