State of J&K and others). Vide order dated February 06, 2014, while issuing notice, the writ Court had ordered that the select list of candidates for RET in GHS Manyal of Zone Thanamandi, District Rajouri shall remain in abeyance. However, the records show that subsequently, pursuant to the miscellaneous application No. 4469/2014, moved by the petitioner, the matter was taken up by the writ Court on November 22, 2014 and the writ petition was dismissed as withdrawn with liberty to re-agitate the matter, subject to survival of cause of action, if any: “In the application, it is stated that in view of the later development the cause does not survive for determination as the position is now to be taken care of by the respondents of their own, therefore, writ petition may be taken up and dismissed as withdrawn. CPSW No. 98/2014 Page 2 of 2 Application allowed and main petition taken on board. In view of grounds urged in the application and the prayer made, the writ petition is dismissed as withdrawn, reserving the right to the petitioner to re-agitate, subject to survival of cause.” In the wake of the above, nothing substantive survives in the petition and the same is disposed of as having been rendered infructuous.
