Heard learned counsel for petitioner, learned State Counsel for opposite party no.1 and Mr. Gyanendra Kumar Srivastava, learned counsel for opposite party no.2. 2. Petition has been filed seeking a direction to concerned authority to take a decision on pending application submitted by petitioner's University for grant of no objections/essentiality certificate for Bachelor in Operation Theatre Technology, Bachelor in Medical Laboratory Science, Bachelor in Physiotherapy and Bachelor in Medical Radiology and Imaging Technology i.e. 2016 in parity with Banaras Hindu University, Varanasi. 3. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that during pendency of this petition, the State Government has passed directions dated 24.01.2025 directing the U.P. State Medical Faculty to conduct inspection of petitioner's institution. 4. Learned counsel for opposite party no.2 has been provided written instructions dated 29.01.2025 and it is submitted that inspection of petitioner's institution would take place during the month of April and May, 2025. However, he submits that the said inspection will only be for the academic year 2025-26. 5. At this stage, learned counsel for petitioner submits that the concerned authority may be directed take a final decision with regard to pending application. 6. In view of such submission, without entering into merits of the case, the opposite party no.1 i.e. Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Medical Education, Government of U.P., Civil Secretariat, Lucknow is directed to take final decision with regard to grievance of petitioner as indicated hereinabove expeditiously, preferably in accordance with law. 7. With aforesaid directions, petition stands disposed of.
