IA NO: 1 OF 2025 Petition under Section 151 CPC praying that in the circumstances stated in the affidavit filed in support of the petition, the High Court may be pleased pLeased to direct respondents to consider for pending biiis of Rs.4,72,814/- with interest @ 18 % for the works executed by the petitioner for the various works under Gadapa Gadapaku Mana Prabhutvam (GGMP) Grant, in Kurnooi Municipal Corporation through the Agreements forthwith pending disposal of the above writ petition and to pass such other orders. 3

THE HONOURABLE SRI JUSTICE NYAPATHY VIJAY WRIT PETITION NO.7364 of 2025 ORDER:
1. The present Writ Petition is filed questioning the action of the Respondent authorities in not releasing the amount of Rs.4,72,814/- payable to the Petitioner even after finalizing the bills in relation to work vide Agreement No.303/2023-24, dated 22.01.2024, as illegal and arbitrary. 2. In the Counter Affidavit filed by the Respondent No.6-Corporation, the work done by the Petitioner was not disputed. It is stated that after execution of work order and agreements, the Writ Petitioner has commenced the above mentioned work and completed the same within the prescribed period. After completion of the said work, the detailed measurements of the said work were recorded in M. Book No.334/23-24 and passed the bill for value of work done amounting to Rs.4,72,814/- for the said work and after scrutiny of the bill duly making statutory deductions, the net amount worked out to Rs.4,38,029/- payable to the Petitioner by the Respondent- Corporation. 3. As there is no dispute regarding the execution of work and the amounts due to the Petitioner, the Writ Petition is disposed of, at the stage of admission, with the consent of both sides counsel, with the following direction:
(i) The Respondent authorities are directed to pay the amount due to
the Petitioner within a period of four (4) months from today. 5
