The petitioner seeks review of the judgment dated 29th April, 2025 passed by this Court in CCP(D) No. 41/2023, arising out of LPASW No. 173/2018, titled “Ishrat Ara Misger Vs. Alok Kumar and Anr.”, which is delayed by 215 days and, therefore, the instant application for condonation of delay has been filed. 2. The delay is sought to be condoned on the ground that, pursuant to the liberty granted by this Court as per the order dated 29th April, 2025, the petitioner first filed a contempt petition, which he later withdrew with liberty to pursue appropriate remedies. The reason submitted does not constitute a sufficient cause which prevented the petitioner from filing the review petition within time. As a matter of fact, the petitioner, with his eyes wide open, accepted the judgment under review and, accordingly, filed a fresh contempt petition. In view of the aforesaid, we see no reason or cause to condone the delay. Otherwise also, the petitioner has accepted the judgment dated 29th April, 2025 and, having availed the remedy of filing a fresh contempt petition, cannot be permitted to seek the review of the said judgment. 4. For all the aforesaid reasons, this application is found devoid of any merit and the same is accordingly dismissed. Consequently, the review petition bearing RP No. 101/2025 is also dismissed.
