It is submitted that the applicant had earlier moved an application seeking release of his licensed N.P.B. Revolver 32 Bore No. F.G. 21363, which was disposed of by this Court vide order dated 09.04.2025, observing that the matter shall be considered at the stage of trial. 5. It is brought on record that the criminal proceedings in relation to Criminal Case No. 1694 of 2016, P.S. Kotwali Roorkee, District Haridwar pending in the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Roorkee, District Haridwar, were quashed by way of compromise entered between the parties, by a coordinate bench of this Hon’ble Court vide order dated 11.12.2024, a copy whereof has been filed through supplementary affidavit for completeness of record. 6. In view of the above development, and considering that no trial now survives, the earlier observation regarding consideration of release at the stage of trial no longer survives. 7. Accordingly, the recall application is allowed. The order dated 09.04.2025 is modified to the extent that the revolver in question may be released to the applicant, subject to verification of ownership, validity of license, and fulfilment of other statutory or administrative requirements by the competent authority. 8. The application is restored to its original number. This C482 application stands disposed in terms of the judgment and order dated 11.12.2024 passed in C528 No.240 of 2024 passed by the learned coordinate Bench of this Court.
