This writ petition is filed seeking following relief :- "I. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of certiorari to quash the selection list of selected candidates on the post of Prerak dated 10.12.2014 issued by the respondent No.4 in so far concern of the centers of the petitioners i.e. Asthaula (mentioned at serial No.58 f list of selected candidates), Block - Gagaha, District- Gorakhpur. II. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding or directing the respondent No.4 to consider the candidature of the petitioners for the posts of Prerak on their applied centers and appoint them on the said post i.e. Prerak." It is brought on record that scheme of appointment of Prerak has already been abandoned many years ago. Otherwise also, selected candidates are in services for last seven years, therefore, at this stage, to unsuit them would be against interest of justice, therefore, relief sought cannot be granted, this writ petition is accordingly, dismissed as rendered infructuous.
