Krishnakumar, C.J) : [1] Mr. S. Nepolean, learned senior Government Advocate assisted by Mrs. RK Emily, learned Deputy Government Advocate, appears for the appellants and Syed Murtaza Ahmed, learned counsel, appears for the respondents. [2] It has been brought to the notice of this Court by Mr. S. Nepolean, learned senior Government Advocate appearing for the appellants that the Registry has wrongly listed the Writ Appeal No. 28 of 2006 before this Court today. He fairly submits before this Court that the Writ Appeal No. 28 of 2006 was already disposed of by this Court on 01.03.2016. Challenging the said order, the private respondents preferred SLP in Civil Appeal No. 10857 of 2016 before the Hon’ble Supreme Court and the said appeal was allowed vide order dated 11.07.2019. Therefore, the said Writ Appeal No. 28 of 2006 is wrongly posted and the same is not to be tagged with the Contempt Case(C) No. 62 of 2006. However, the case records of the said Contempt Petition (C) No. 19 of 2021 is not yet received by the High Court of Manipur. [5] Therefore, Registry is directed to verify whether the case records of Contempt Petition (C) No. 19 of 2021 is still not received by the High Court of Manipur and if it is received, Registry is directed to put up the same along with Cont.Cas(C) No. 62 of 2006.
