The present Application has been filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 for quashing the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.668 of 2025, “State Vs. Paras Bisht and Others”, pending before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vikasnagar, Dehradun under Sections 323, 498A, 504 of the Indian Penal Code, 1860, Section 3 and Section 4 of the Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961. 2. Heard Mr. Rajat Mittal, learned counsel for the applicants-accused, Mr. Deepak Bhardwaj, learned 1 2025:UHC:8767 Brief Holder for the respondent no.1 and Ms. Poonam Rauthan, learned counsel for the respondent no.2- informant/victim. 3. The applicant no.1 is the husband of the respondent no.2-informant/victim. The applicant no.2 is the mother and the applicant no.3 is the sister of the applicant no.1. 4. All the applicants-accused are present through video conferencing. They are identified by Mr. Rajat Mittal, Advocate. The respondent no.2-Shivani Rawat is present through video conferencing. She is identified by Ms. Poonam Rauthan, Advocate. 5. Both, the applicants and the respondent no.2 submitted that there were matrimonial disputes. They have settled their disputes and after resolving their disputes, they have filed a Compounding Application (IA No.01 of 2025) and affidavits with their free will and without any pressure. 6. The respondent no.2 has requested to quash the entire proceedings of the said Criminal Case No. 668 of 2025. 7. The said request of the respondent no.2 has not been opposed by the respondent no.1. 2 2025:UHC:8767 8. Considering the totality of the matter, this Court is of the view that ends of justice would be met if the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.668 of 2025, “State Vs. Paras Bisht and Others”, pending before the court of Additional Chief Judicial Magistrate, Vikasnagar, Dehradun, are quashed. 9. Resultantly, the present Application, filed under Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023, is allowed and the entire proceedings of Criminal Case No.668 of 2025, “State Vs.
