Also heard Page No.# 2/2 Mr. K K Parasar, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State of Assam. 2. This is an application under Section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 praying for grant of pre- arrest bail in respect of Badarpur PS Case No. 48/2025. 3. Two persons namely, Md. Shakir and Rajdeep Deb were running business and they used to approach people and assure them that if they invest money in the organization they would get higher returns for their investment. In this way many people invested huge amount of money in the organization run by those two persons. But they did not receive any returns as promised by those two persons. 4. Mr. Mazumder submits that the petitioner himself invested a huge amount of money by crediting the same in the bank account of Md. Shakir. 5. Mr. Parasar submits that the present petitioner collected money from different persons and credited the same in the bank account of Md. Shakir. According to Mr. Parasar, this is a financial scam and therefore, the Investigating Agency should be given the opportunity to investigate the case. 6. This Court is of the opinion that the submissions made by Mr. Parasar has force in it. 7. In view of the above, the bail application stands dismissed and disposed of accordingly.
