The present petition has been filed with the following prayer : "Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of Mandamus directing the Opposite Party No.2 i.e. Additional Commissioner (Food), Ayodhya Division, Ayodhya to decide the pending appeal bearing Computerized Case No.C202404000002633 "Shariq Hasnain vs. State of U.P." filed by the petitioner no.1 u/s-13(3) of the U.P. Essential Commodities (Regulation of Sale & Distribution Control) Order, 2016 against the impugned suspension order dated 23.07.2024 (Annexure No.1) as early as possible within the time period as fixed by this Hon'ble Court, in the interest of justice." 3. Considering the prayer limited to the issue of mandamus, the writ petition is disposed off directing the opposite party no.1 to decide the pending appeal bearing Computerized Case No.C202404000002633 "Shariq Hasnain vs. State of U.P." filed by the petitioner no.1 u/s-13(3) of the U.P.
