Heard Sri Shahid Ali Siddiqui, learned counsel for the petitioner and Sri Shailendra Singh, learned Standing Counsel. 2. Petitioner is a fench sitter and she has approached this Court for Death-Cum-Retirement Gratuity since her husband has died in harness on 18.2.2017 while working as an Assistant Teacher. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that a belated stage when the petitioner came to know about the judgments where in similar circumstances Death-Cum-Retirement Gratuity has been paid and he refers certain judgments annexed along with this writ petition. 4. In aforesaid circumstances, though the petitioner has approached this Court at a belated stage, still considering that there are judgments in favour of petitioner, therefore, this writ petition is disposed of with an observation that concerned respondent will look into the grievance of the petitioner and will pass an appropriate order taking note of position of law on this issue.
