Pursuant to the directions passed by this Court on 29.05.2025, this matter was referred to the Mediation and Conciliation Centre of this Court for exploring the possibility of settlement through mediation. 2. The report of the Mediator is on record and the rival parties i.e. the respondent-Bank and the petitioner-borrower have arrived at a settlement in terms of the agreement dated 16.07.2025, which is taken on record as Annexure ‘X’. 3. However, learned counsel for the respondent-Bank submits that there is a typographical error in the settlement/agreement dated Gianender Kumar 2025.07.23 20:44 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document CWP-15679-2025 -2- 16.07.2025, where, in the second line of first para, the Loan Account No. ‘65233011000009’ has been wrongly written, whereas, it should have been ‘65233011000049’. 3.1 Learned counsel for the petitioner-borrower agrees to the said objection raised by the learned counsel for the respondent-bank. 4. Accordingly, this Court accepts the settlement/agreement by directing that the loan account number, instead of ‘65233011000009’ shall be read as ‘65233011000049’ in the said settlement/agreement dated 16.07.2025. 5. Accordingly, the present petition stands disposed of in terms of the settlement/agreement dated 16.07.2025 arrived at between the respondent-bank and the petitioner-borrower.
