By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a direction towards the respondent to appoint the petitioner against the post of Surveyor as the petitioner is entitled for the said post under the disabled quota. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that as per advertisement one post of Disabled quota was reserved for One arm, where as the petitioner is having disability of one leg, hence once the post of disabled quota under the One arm is not being filled up due to non-availability of the candidates, he may be appointed to the said post in accordance with his merit in the select list. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner’s representation claiming his appointment is pending consideration before the respondent vide (Annexure P/8) dated 28.01.2025 and this writ petition be disposed of with a direction to the respondent for a decision on the representation submitted by petitioner on the basis of circular dated 27.09.2014. 3. I have heard both the counsels for the parties and perused the pleadings and documents. 4. As the petitioner has submitted a representation before the Director, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to the Director Agriculture to decide the representation of the petitioner in accordance with law particularly considering the provision
3 prescribed under Clause 12 of the Circular dated 27.09.2014. The Director shall decide the representation within a period of 30 days from the receipt of the copy of the order. The petitioner is at liberty to apprise the respondent/Director about the order of this Court. 5. With the aforesaid direction and liberty, the writ petition is disposed of.
