GP FOR LAND ACQUISITION (AP) The Court made the following order: Challenging the Preliminary notification Ref.G4/497/2019 dated 05.03.2020, issued by the respondent No.2 in Form – VI (a) under Section 11(1) of the Right to Fair Compensation and Transparency in Land Acquisition, Rehabilitation and Resettlement Act, 2013, proposing to acquire the lands of the petitioners to an extent of Ac.11.54 cents situated in Sy.nos.181-1, 182-2, 181-3, 181-4, 181-5, 182-3, 18-4, 182-5, 226-3, 69-2, 69-3, 69-4, 78-3, 78-4, 78-6, 177-1 and 177-6 in Machavaram Village, Rayavaram Mandal, East Godavari District for providing house sites to the poor under Navaratnalu Pedalandariki Illu scheme, this writ petition is filed. 2. Heard Sri. N.Siva Reddy, learned counsel for the petitioners, learned Assistant Government pleader for Revenue appearing for the Land Acquisition. 3. Today, when the matter is taken up for hearing, the learned Assistant Government Pleader for Land Acquisition has placed on record a copy of the written instructions received from the Tahsildar, Rayavaram, dated 22.02.2025. A perusal of the same would reveal that, there is no need for acquisition of the subject land and further stated that the notification issued for acquisition has already lapsed. 4. In view of the above, no further orders are required to be passed. 5. The written instructions of the Tahsildar, Rayavaram, dated 22.02.2025 are placed on record. 6. In view of the foregoing, the writ petition is disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.
