(Oral) The instant writ petition has been filed under Articles 226/227 of the Constitution of India, seeking an appropriate writ, order or direction for quashing the order dated 02.08.2023 (Annexure P-12) passed by respondent No.2 (Municipal Council, Zirakpur) wherein, it was observed that the petitioner had failed to abide by the sanctioned site plan and has further failed to fulfill the terms and conditions of the partial completion certificates. During the pendency of the instant writ petition, a status report was sought vide order dated 01.07.2024 whereupon, status report dated 02.09.2024 has been submitted, highlighting various shortcomings/discrepancies in the project in question. 3. Today, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the petitioner may be permitted to withdraw the instant writ petition with liberty to avail his other remedy/ies, available under the law. 4. Ordered accordingly. 5. However, it is made clear that the concerned authorities and/or Department of Local Government, Punjab shall ensure that the project in question, is in compliance with all statutory requirements and other approvals/sanctions/permissions accorded by various authorities, concerning the project in question. It goes without saying that in case, the project is lacking in any aspect then appropriate action be initiated against all concerned. 6.
