(2) According to petitioner, she was engaged as PTA Teacher in a government aided institution, namely, Kisan Inter College, Bhurni Khateerpur, Laksar, District Haridwar w.e.f. 11.8.2011; she was so engaged against a sanctioned vacant post and she was also possessing all requisite educational qualifications for regular appointment on the post in question. The grievance raised by the petitioner is that all other similarly situate persons, who were engaged as PTA Teacher, have been given honorarium from the State Exchequer and they were also conferred ad hoc status, however these benefits are not being extended to the petitioner, although she possesses all eligibility conditions. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought the following relief: “i. Issue a writ, order or direction in the nature of mandamus commanding and directing the respondents to grant Ad- hoc status to the petitioner from date of her initial appointment and regularize the services on the post of Assistant Teacher in Kisan Inter College, Bhurni Khateerpur, Post Office Laksar, District Haridwar.” (3) Learned State Counsel submits that if petitioner makes a fresh representation, Chief Education Officer concerned shall consider the same and take 2025:UHC:8662 appropriate decision thereupon. (4) Accordingly, writ petition is disposed of granting liberty to petitioner to make representation to Chief Education Officer concerned within two weeks from today. If petitioner makes representation within the stipulated time, Chief Education Officer concerned shall take decision in the matter within six weeks thereafter by passing a speaking order, after inviting comments from the management.
