Also heard Ms. S. H. Bora, the learned Additional Public Prosecutor for the State respondent. This application under section 482 of the BNSS, 2023 has been filed by the Page No.# 2/2 petitioner, namely, Mehedi Alom @ Mehdi Alom, who was apprehending his arrest by Juria Police Station and according to the petitioner, police was searching him however, he was unable to give any information regarding pendency of any police station case for lodging of FIR against him before the said Police Station. On this, a report was called for from the Juria Police Station. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor has submitted that she has been informed by the Officer-in-Charge of Juria Police Station that no FIR has been registered against the present petitioner namely, Mehedi Alom @ Mehdi Alom, in the said police station i.e. Juria Police Station. In view of the fact that there is no pending case against the present petitioner in Juria Police Station, his apprehension of getting arrested by the police of Juria Police Station and it is to be unfounded and accordingly, this anticipatory bail application is disposed of.
