Mr. Rahul Thakur, learned counsel, appears and accepts service of notice on behalf of respondents. He placed on record instructions wherein it has been stated that the retiral benefit i.e. Gratuity amount of ₹11,62,447/- has been disbursed to the petitioner. He prays for and is granted two weeks time to pay the other retiral benefits to the petitioner. List on 06.01.2026 before appropriate Bench.” 2. Pursuant to above order, learned counsel for the respondents has placed on record office communication and on that basis submits that save and except interest 1Whether reporters of print and electronic media may be allowed to see the order? Yes. 2 component, all other retiral benefits due to the petitioner now stands released in his favour. 3. Learned counsel for the petitioner admits the above position but raised grievance with respect to payment of interest on account of delayed payment of retiral benefits. 4. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that interest component shall also be cleared by the respondents within three weeks. In view of above submissions, present proceedings are closed. Notice issued to respondents stand discharged. Respondents to abide by the assurance given by their learned counsel and to pay the interest component to the petitioner by or before 29.01.2026.
