By the present writ petition, the petitioner is seeking a limited prayer to decide his application filed under C.G. Panchyat Election Rules, 1995 before Respondent No. 3/ Collector. 2. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that he is one of the participant of the election for the post of member of Janpad Panchayat, Bilha, Election Area No. 12. He further submits that after declaration of results on 22.02.2025, the petitioner submitted a representation dated 27.02.2025, before the Collector to make some correction in the counting of votes stating some clerical error, but the said application is still pending before the Collector and no decision is taken on the application till date. 3. Learned counsel for the respondents No. 2 to 5 on instructions submit that if the application is still pending, the same will be considered and decided in accordance with Rule 84 of the C.G. Panchayat Election Rules, 1995 within stipulated period. 4. I have heard learned counsel for the parties and perused the pleading of the petitioner as well as the documents attached. 5. Perusal of the documents shows that the petitioner has filed an application dated 27.02.2025 for recounting of votes stating some clerical error. 6. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, Respondent No. 3/ Collector cum District Returning Officer, Bilaspur is directed 4 to consider the application and pass necessary orders in accordance with Rule 84 of the C.G.
