4. The present petition is filed by the petitioners to quash the entire criminal proceedings of Criminal Case No. 1524 of 2024 under Section 323, 498-A, 504 & 506 I.P.C. and 3/4 of Dowry Prohibition Act, 1961 pending in the Court of Additional Civil Judge, Haldwani, District Nainital.

Learned counsel for the parties have submitted that in compliance with the directions of this Court dated 11.11.2024 both parties appeared before the Mediator appointed by the Secretary, High Court Legal Services Committee for mediation proceedings held on different dates.
He would further submit that the mediation proceedings were successful and the parties have amicably resolved their dispute on mutually agreed terms and conditions as recorded in the settlement/agreement dated 15.05.2025, in Mediation Case No. 26 of 2025 titled Manish Joshi & Another vs. State of Uttarakhand & another, before the Mediation Centre, Nainital.
6. In view of the amicable settlement and considering that both parties have agreed to abide by the terms of the compromise, this
2025:UHC:4405 Court is of the considered view that no useful purpose would be served by keeping the present revision pending.
7. Accordingly, the criminal misc. petition is disposed of in terms of the settlement/agreement dated 15.05.2025 which shall form part of this order.
8. Pending applications, if any, also stand
disposed of.
