The writ petitioners were assigned with certain pieces of land. The details are as follows: S. The learned single Judge concluded that if on this ground the assignments were to be cancelled, a spot inspection must have been held immediately on the expiry of the third year and thereafter cancellation order should have been passed. In this case, the orders were passed belatedly. On this ground, the learned single Judge chose to set aside.
