This Court, vide order dated 04.07.2024, passed in MCRC No. 2804 of 2024, while allowing the bail to the applicant, namely, Anil Suna had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the production of certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. The learned Special Judge (NDPS Act), Saraipali District- KUNAL DEWANGAN Digitally signed by KUNAL DEWANGAN 2 Mahasamund (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 17.02.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 4. It transpires from perusal of the PUD that in this case, the charge- sheet was presented on 04.04.2024 and after framing the charges, fixed the date for evidence on 13-08-2024. Since then, the statements of two witnesses have been recorded. However, despite repeated summons and warrants, the remaining prosecution witnesses are not appearing, hence the trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion therefore, she prays for grant of some more time for concluding the same. 5. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of five months from today. 6. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 7.
