This Court, vide order dated 14.09.2023, passed in MCRC No. 6069 of 2023, while allowing the bail to the petitioner, namely, Dhananjay Sahu, had expressed its trust that the trial Court should make an earnest endeavor to conclude the trial expeditiously in accordance with law, preferably within a period of six months from the date of receipt of a certified copy of the order, if there was no legal impediment. 3. Earlier on occasion also, this Court had granted extension of time for conclusion of the trial vide order dated 03.10.2024 in CRMP No.2683/2024. PREETI KUMARI Digitally signed by PREETI KUMARI 2 4. Learned Judicial Magistrate First Class, Rajim, District – Gariyaband (C.G.) through The learned Principal District and Sessions Judge, Raipur, District – Raipur (C.G.) vide his request letter dated 04.02.2025 has requested for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 5. It transpires from perusal of the PUD, that in the present case a total of 19 prosecution witnesses have been examined and the accused did not produced any defence evidence, oral final arguments were presented by the lawyer of the accused on 20.01.2025 and on request for time to present written final arguments and judicial precedents, a short time has been given to him. Hence, trial is likely to take some time for its conclusion. Hence, he prays for grant of some more time for concluding the trial. 6. The request appears to be reasonable. The concerned trial Court is directed to conclude the trial as early as possible, preferably within a further period of two months from today. 7. Accordingly, this CRMP stands disposed off with the aforesaid direction. 8.
