The instant writ petition has been preferred by the petitioners for the following reliefs: (a) For a direction upon the respondents, particularly Respondent No. 1, to pay the Non-Practicing Allowances (hereinafter referred to as 'NPA) with statutory interest from 26.5.1998 to March, 2000 to the petitioners as per the direction of the Hon'ble Jharkhand High Court passed in W.P.(S) No. 2894 of 2001- Dr. Bijay Narayan & Ors. Vrs. State of Jharkhand & Ors., W.P.(S) No. 2822 of 2004- Dr. Jagannath Tripathi and others Vrs. The State of Jharkhand & ors. and W.P.(S) No. 606 of 2019-Dr. Umeshwar Sharma Vrs. The State of Jharkhand & Ors. and as per the Memo No. 10(Vidhi) dated 24.12.2003 issued by the Secretary, Department of Health, Medical Education & Family Welfare, Govt. of Jharkhand.

(b) For a further direction upon the respondent no.1 to dispose of the representations of the petitioners, particularly the representation dated 9.1.2025, which are still pending before him, in light of the order dated 2.9.2024 passed in W.P.(S) No. 606 of 2019.

At the outset, learned counsel for the petitioners submits that though the petitioners have filed several representations before the 1st Respondent, but their representations have not been considered till date; as such, the concerned respondent may be directed to take a decision on the representations filed by the petitioners.

Learned counsel for the respondents submits that since no counter affidavit has been filed and it is the first date of hearing; as such, the petitioners may be
directed to file fresh representation before the 1st Respondent.

Having regard to the aforesaid submissions, this writ petition is hereby disposed of by directing the 1st Respondent to treat this writ application as representation and take a decision with regard to grievance of these petitioners in accordance with law and applicable Rules and Regulations and also keeping in mind Annexure-7 by passing a reasoned and speaking order within a period of 12 weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
One of the petitioners is directed to serve a copy of this writ petition along with its order to the 1st Respondent for early disposal of the claim.

Accordingly, this writ petition stands disposed of.
