Petitioners were initially appointed in a unaided school in the year 1996; said school was included in grant-in-aid list of the State Government on 24.05.2005 and petitioner No. 1 and petitioner No. 2 ultimately retired from service on 31.03.2020 and 30.06.2023 respectively. 3. According to petitioners, they are entitled to Selection Pay Scale/ACP and annual increments which have been paid to other similarly situate persons; however, they are denied those benefits. The reliefs sought in the writ petitions are as follow: “I. To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondents to grant service benefit of selection like Selection Pay Scale/ACP with annual increments w.e.f. the date of their joining pursuant to their initial order of appointment. II. To issue a writ order or direction in the nature of mandamus, commanding and directing the respondents to decide the representation dated 27.06.2025 of the petitioners.” 4. Representation made by petitioners to the 2025:UHC:8735 District Education Officer is on record as Anneuxre-8 to the writ petition. 5. Learned counsel for petitioner submits that petitioners be permitted to make fresh representation. 6. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with liberty to petitioners to make separate representations afresh. If they make such representation within two weeks from today, District Education Officer concerned shall look into their claim and take decision, as per law, within four months thereafter.
