No one has appeared on behalf of the applicant to address the Court though Shri Ravi Srivastava, learned A.G.A. for the State is present. 2. The present application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. has been filed in the year 2017 with the prayer to quash/set aside the impugned order dated 5.8.2017 passed by Judicial Magistrate-III, Lucknow with proclamation dated 11.5.2017 arising out of Case Crime No. 285 of 2016 under Sections 366 and 368 IPC, Police Station Alambagh, District Lucknow. 3. The present matter is pending since 2017. 4. This Court directed for issuance of notice to respondent no. 2 on 9.11.2017. As per office report dated 5.8.2025, the notice has been served upon respondent no. 2 but no one has appeared on his behalf. 5. Even in the revised list none has appeared on behalf of the contesting parties. It appears that the applicant has lost interest to pursue the case, hence no useful purpose would be served to keep it pending. 6. In view of above, application under Section 482 Cr.P.C. is dismissed for want of prosecution. 7. In case, if cause of action still survives, the applicant is at liberty to approach this Court seeking recall of this order within a period of thirty days from today. 8. A copy of this order be communicated to the court concerned forthwith to enable it to conclude the proceedings of the above-mentioned case, if not already concluded, expeditiously, in accordance with law.
