JUSTICE GOLMEI GAIPHULSHILLU 07.03.2025 Heard Mr. Y. Ashang, learned Sr. counsel appearing for the respondent nos. 1, 2 & 3 and Mr. Serto T. Kom, learned counsel appearing for the respondent no. 4 through VC. The petitioner, inspite of proper service, failed to appear before the Court on several occasions. The matter is taken up for hearing today. Both the learned counsels for the respondents submit that vide order dated 28.2.2020 passed by this Hon’ble Court, the FIR of the present accused/petitioner was quashed saying that the entire allegations in the FIR was purely civil in nature. The respondent no. 4 filed SLP against the said order and the Hon’ble Supreme Court set aside the order dated 28.02.2020 of this court and sent it back again for fresh hearing of the matter. Both the learned counsels for the respondents submit that because of this Hon’ble Courts’ order, the proceeding of the FIR was paused and there is no further investigation done by the I.O. This Court is of the view that proper investigation of the case is required for the ends of justice. The I.O of the case is directed to carry out the investigation of the case under the provision of law and to complete the investigation within 6(six) months. With this above direction, Cril. Petn.
