JUSTICE V.SUJATHA CONTEMPT CASE No.820 of 2025 ORDER: This contempt case is filed against the respondents for willful disobedience of the orders passed by this Court in W.P.No.5956 of 2024, dated 19.03.2024. The operative portion of the said order is extracted hereunder: “5. In view of the same, the Writ Petition is disposed of directing the petitioner to submit the financial reports for the three years i.e., 2020- 2021, 2021-2022, and 2022-2023 for which the petitioner is claiming Maintenance Grant. As and when the petitioner submits the same, the respondents are directed to consider the payment of Maintenance Grant to the petitioner’s institution in accordance with law. There shall be no order as to costs.” 2. The 4th respondent filed counter affidavit, wherein, it is stated that in pursuance of the orders passed by this Court, the 3rd respondent has released an amount of Rs.9,64,543/- to the petitioner-School for the period of three (3) years i.e. 2020-2021, 2021-2022 and 2022-2023 on 28.06.2025 vide Rc.No.ESE02-18024/22/2024-PS 3-CSE. It is further stated that the above released amount was sanctioned to the correspondent of the petitioner-School vide proceedings bearing Progs.Rc.No.789/B1/2025 dated 02.07.2025 of the 4th respondent i.e. the District Educational Officer, Prakasam District, with a direction to submit the Maintenance Grant bills to the Mandal Educational Officer, Veligandla 4 to take necessary steps for payment of the sanctioned amount to the concerned management. The Mandal Educational Officer, Veligandla has taken action to upload the bills in CFMS on 04.07.2025. 3. Today, when the matter came up for hearing, the learned counsel representing the contemnors has furnished a copy of the bill details to prove that the payment for an amount of Rs.9,64,543/- has been made in favour of the petitioner-School on 01.08.2025. 4. Recording the same, the Contempt Case is closed, as the respondents have already complied with the orders passed by this Court dated 19.03.2024 in W.P.No.5956 of 2024.
