Mr. Prince Chauhan, learned counsel for petitioner. 2. Mr. S.S. Chauhan, learned D.A.G. and Mr. Bhaskar Chandra Joshi, learned A.G.A. with Mr. Vikas Uniyal, learned Brief Holder for the State of Uttarakhand/respondent Nos.1 to 3. 3. By means of the present writ petition, petitioner has sought the following reliefs: a) To issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing Respondent No.2 (Superintendent of Police Udham Singh Nagar) and Respondent No.3 (S.H.O. Jaspur) to take immediate action on the Petitioner’s complaints dated 01.09.2025 and 16.09.2025 (Annexure No.1), and to ensure that appropriate legal steps are taken without further delay to address the issues raised in the complaints. b) To issue a writ, order, or direction in the nature of mandamus, directing Respondent No.2 (Superintendent of Police Udham Singh Nagar) and Respondent No.3 (S.H.O. Jaspur) to take immediate action on the Petitioner’s complaints dated 01.09.2025 and 16.09.2025 (Annexure No.1) in accordance with the judgment of the Hon’ble Supreme Court in Lalita Kumari V. Governmetn of Uttar Pradesh (2014), which mandates the registration of an FIR when the information discloses a cognizable offence and to take appropriate action within a stipulated time frame. 2025:UHC:8702 4. This Court vide order dated 25.09.2025 has asked to learned State Counsel to bring on record the instructions from the SSP, Udham Singh Nagar, as to why the FIR is not being lodged despite serious allegations having been raised by the petitioner/victim against respondent No.4. 5. Today, learned State Counsel received written instructions dated 25.09.2025 and passed on to this Court the said instructions, which are taken on record. 6. On the strength of instructions, it is informed by the learned State Counsel that First Information Report No.407 of 2025 under Section 69 BNS 2023, has now been lodged against the respondent No.4 at P.S. Jaspur, District Udham Singh Nagar. 7. In view of the statement made by learned State Counsel, the present writ petition has rendered infructuous. 8.
