The respondents No. 3 to 52 were appointed in pursuance of a selection process initiated by the respondent- corporation. The petitioners were not found eligible for absorption as they have not worked continuously for various periods of time as disclosed in the counter affidavit. The petitioners did not satisfy the guidelines for absorption framed by the Supreme Court in Civil Appeal No (s). 933-968 of 2005 (LIC of India and Anr. Etc. vs. D.V. Anil Kumar Etc.). The petitioners claim that certain certificates had been issued by the respondent-corporation which certify that the petitioners had been continuously working. These are the disputed questions of fact which cannot be adjudicated in the writ petition. The recruitment process was transparent and conducted as per law. No good ground is made out for cancellation of the appointments of the respondents No. 3 to 52. The writ petition is dismissed.
