Sr. No. 27 HIGH COURT OF JAMMU & KASHMIR AND LADAKH AT JAMMU Case : CPSW No. 104/2014 in SWP No. 2540/2013 Himmat Singh and another …Petitioner(s)/Appellant(s) Through: Ms. Supriya Chauhan, Advocate V/s Pawan Kumar and others ... Respondent(s) Through: Ms. Saliqa Sheikh, Assisting counsel to Mr. Raman Sharma, AAG CORAM: HON’BLE THE CHIEF JUSTICE ORDER 12.12.2025 The petitioners pray for initiation of contempt proceedings against the respondents for willful defiance of the judgment dated November 26, 2013 passed by the writ Court in SWP No. 2540/2013. In essence, vide order dated November 26, 2013, the writ Court had disposed of the petition with a direction to the respondents-Authorities to consider the claim of the petitioners for regularization of their services on the same analogy as was done in the case of other co-petitioners. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that the matter is pending for over a decade and for the past several years neither the petitioners nor any one on their behalf has contacted her Office. Accordingly, learned counsel for the parties submit that let the petition be disposed of as infructuous with liberty to the petitioners to move an appropriate application, just in case any dispute/cause of action/interest still survives, for revival of the present proceedings and necessary orders. Disposed of as having been rendered infructuous with liberty prayed for. ( (ARUN PALLI) CHIEF JUSTICE Jammu : 12.12.2025 Pawan Chopra/Secy Pawan Chopra 2025.12.15 10:55 I attest to the accuracy and integrity of this document
