JUSTICE CHILLAKUR SUMALATHA) Heard Sri Jayanandayya, learned counsel, who represents Sri Anand V. Ture, learned counsel on record for the writ petitioner, learned Additional Government Advocate, who represents respondent Nos.1 to 3 as well as Smt. Ratna N. Shivayogimath, learned counsel, who represents respondent Nos.4 and 5. - 3 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:2431 WP No. 202916 of 2024 2. Learned counsel for the writ petitioner submits that the petitioner is working as Anganwadi worker at Savahalli Anganwadi Centre, Basavan Bagewadi Taluk. The petitioner is resident of Basavan Bagewadi Town. The distance between Basavan Bagewadi and Savahalli is 06 kms. and the petitioner is facing difficulty to travel and therefore, she gave representations to transfer her to the place where she resides, but, they were not entertained till now and therefore, the present writ petition is filed. 3. The distance between the place of work and the residence of the petitioner as projected by the petitioner herself is 06 kms. There is no material on record to show that the petitioner is incapacitated to travel such short distance to attend her duties. Though it is stated that the husband of the petitioner is suffering from ill-health, no such record in proof of the said fact is produced. 4. Therefore, this Court is not inclined to direct the respondents to consider her representation, as the ground - 4 - NC: 2025:KHC-K:2431 WP No. 202916 of 2024 she projected is not convincing.
