Raghunandan Rao) The present Writ Petition has been filed to produce the detenue who is said to be less than 18 years old. It is the case of the petitioner that the detenue had been taken into custody by the police, on 06.03.2025 and had not been produced before any Magistrate by the time of filing of the Writ Petition. 2. Learned Government Pleader, on instructions, submits that the detenue had been taken into custody, on 16.03.2025 and produced before the II Additional Chief Metropolitan Magistrate, Vijayawada, on 17.03.2024, in 2 Crime No.34 of 2025. As the detenue was a minor he was sent to juvenile home at Vijayawada and he is presently lodged there. 3. In view of the fact that there is an order of remand passed by a Magistrate of competent jurisdiction, it would not be appropriate for this Court to continue with this matter. 4. Learned Counsel for the petitioner submits that the instructions received by the learned Government Pleader are not correct in as much as the detenue had been detained from 06.03.2025 and the C.C.TV footage of Kanchikacherla, Nandigama, and Jaggayyapeta at Krishna District and Atchampet at Palanadu district would show that the detenue was under police custody and was being moved from police station to police station. 5. It is always open to the petitioner to raise these issues before the Magistrate. 6. Accordingly, this Writ Petition is closed. There shall be no order as to costs.
