GP FOR SERVICES I 2 The Court made the following order: The present writ petition is filed questioning the inaction of the 2nd respondent in sending the petitioners for in-service training for Sanitary Inspector certificate course, in pursuant to the petitioners’ representations dated 07.10.2024 and 09.10.2024 as illegal, arbitrary. 2. Heard Sri K.R.Srinivas, learned counsel for the petitioners and learned Assistant Government Pleader for Services-I for respondents. 3. The petitioners have been appointed as Lab Technician Grade-II in the year 1995. Their services were regularized and probation was also declared. The petitioners’ are stated to be eligible for promotion to the post of Health Inspector, in terms of the Andhra Pradesh Public Health Subordinate Services Rules issued vide G.O.Ms.No.3842 dated 31.12.1964. In order to be considered for promotion, the petitioners as Lab Technician Grade-II are required to undergo Sanitary Inspector certificate course. Though the petitioners are eligible to consider for promotion, unless they complete such certificate course, they shall be not be considered. The petitioners have made representations dated 07.10.2024 and 09.10.2024, in this regard. 3 4. Learned counsel for the petitioners submits that as the requirements under the Rules clearly mandates that petitioners have to undergo Sanitary Inspector certificate course, for the purpose of promotion to the post of Health Inspector, it would suffice to direct the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on petitioners’ representations dated 07.10.2024 and 09.10.2024. 5. Learned Assistant Government Pleader appearing for respondents submits that the representations made by the petitioners will be considered in accordance with law. 6. In view of the aforesaid submissions, the present Writ Petition is disposed of, directing the 2nd respondent to consider and pass orders on petitioners’ representations dated 07.10.2024 and 09.10.2024, in accordance with law, within a period of six (06) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. There shall be no order as to costs.
