2. By this petition the petitioner has prayed for following relief(s) :
“1) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased
to
issue
a
writ/writs, direction/directions,
order/orders
to respondents to provide the Petitioner with the pensionary benefits and retiral dues in accordance to the 7th pay commission. 2) That this court may kindly issue the directions to the respondent authorities to pay the arrears for the difference in the amount of 6th and 7th pay commission, which he is entitled from the period of 01/01/2016 to 31/08/2021, i.e., till his age of retirement (31/08/2022) along with the interest. 3) That, this Hon'ble Court may kindly be pleased to grant any other relief(s), which is deemed fit and proper in the aforesaid facts and circumstances of the case.”

At the very outset, learned counsel for the petitioner submits that identical petitions have been decided by this Court on 16/12/2024 in a batch of petitions leading case bearing WPS No.4812/2024, as such this petition can be disposed of in the terms of the order passed in aforesaid petition to which the learned counsel for the respondents have not disputed.
4. In WPS No.4812/2024 this Court after appreciating the submission made by the respective parties disposed of the said writ petition along with other connected matters by observing
3 thus:-
“Taking into consideration the submission made by learned counsel for respective parties, these petitions at this juncture are disposed of directing respondent No.1 to take decision on recommendation made by respondent No.3/Registrar of the University dated 15/05/2023 with respect to granting benefit of 7th Pay Scale in pension payable to the petitioners, preferably within a period 120 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order. The authority concerned is also directed to keep in mind the judgment passed by the co- ordinate Bench of this Court in W.P. (S) No.196/2011, parties being Santosh Kumar Upadhyay & Others vs. State of Chhattisgarh and Others.”
5. In view of the above, present petition is also disposed of in terms of the order passed in WPS No.4812/2024 and other connected matters. The respondent No.1 shall take decision on recommendation made by respondent No.2/Registrar of the University with respect to granting benefit of 7th Pay Scale in pension payable to the petitioners, within a period of 120 days from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
