The petitioner has been made accused in connection with Pathalgadda P.S. Case No. 17 of 2024 corresponding to N.D.P.S. Case No. 207 of 2024, for the offences registered under Sections 17(B), 18(B), 21(B), 22(B), 25, 27, 28,29 of the Narcotics Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act (N.D.P.S. Act), pending in the Court of learned Additional District Judge-IIIrd, Chatra. 3. Bail Application of the petitioner was earlier rejected by this Court vide B.A. No. 7864 of 2024 by order dated 21.11.2024. 4. On 31.05.2024, Pathalgadda Police apprehended the petitioner and on search, 2.2 kgs of opium was recovered from his possession. 5. It was submitted hat the petitioner is in custody for about a year. It was further submitted that the quantum of seized opium comes within the purview of intermediary quantity. 6. In view of the period of custody, I am inclined to release the petitioner, on bail. Accordingly, the petitioner, named above, is directed to be released on bail on furnishing bail bond of Rs. 20,000/- (Rupees Twenty Thousand) with two sureties of the like amount each, to the satisfaction of learned Additional District Judge-IIIrd, Chatra in connection with Pathalgadda P.S.
