(A) No. 670 of 2025 In Re:- An application for anticipatory bail under Section 482 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita in connection with Chandipur Police Station Case No. 405 of 2024 dated 30.10.2024 under Sections 287/288/326(g) of the BNS read with Section 9B of Explosive Act and Sections 24/26 of West Bengal Fire Services Act. And In Re : Nityananda Mondal .….. petitioner Mr. Sanjib Kumar Dan ..…for the petitioner Mr. Aritra Bhattacharya ….. for the State 1. Heard the learned advocates for the parties. 2. We have considered the materials on record. A large volume of explosives was recovered from petitioner. Keeping in mind the nature of accusation we are of the opinion custodial interrogation of petitioner is necessary for progress of investigation and further recoveries. 3. Accordingly we are not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. 4. Accordingly, prayer for anticipatory bail is rejected. (Gaurang Kanth, J.) (Joymalya Bagchi, J.)
