According to petitioner, he has made a representation to District Magistrate, Dehradun on 31.07.2025, which has not been decided so far. 4. By means of this writ petition, petitioner has sought a direction to District Magistrate, Dehradun to take decision on the representation. 5. Learned State Counsel, however, submits that petitioner has requested for mutating his name in the revenue record based on a sale deed executed in 2010. He further submits that the land, which allegedly was purchased by petitioner, is a disputed land and District Magistrate has imposed ban on mutation in respect of such land. 6. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that District Magistrate should at least pass a reasoned order on petitioner’s representation. 7. Accordingly, the writ petition is disposed of with a direction to District Magistrate, Dehradun to consider and decide petitioner’s representation dated 31.07.2025, one way or the other, within 2025:UHC:8519 nine months from the date of presentation of certified copy of this order.
