The present contempt proceedings have been sought to be initiated alledging willful non-compliance of the order dated 04.10.2008 passed by this Court in CWP No.4886 of 2003 whereby the Municipal Corporations within the State were directed to locate the encroachments besides removing the same. 2. Though a detailed reply was earlier filed on behalf of respondents on 20.09.2024 giving details of removal of encroachments; today again an additional affidavit dated 11.02.2025 has been filed on behalf of respondent No.3 while submitting that all the 29 encroachments as pointed out by the petitioner in his representation (Annexure P-4) already stands removed under the provisions of the Public Premises Act, 1973.
