This hearing has been done through hybrid mode. 2. The present writ petition under Article 226 of the Constitution of India read with Section 528 of the Bharatiya Nagarik Suraksha Sanhita, 2023 seeks the following prayers: - “a. Issue a writ in the nature of Mandamus directing the respondent to release the petitioner on regular Parole for a period of 30 days; OR b. Direct the respondent to decide the petitioner's application for parole dated 16.11.2024 forthwith; c. Pass any other order or further orders, which this Hon’ble Court deems fit and proper in the interest of justice;” 3. It is pointed out that the petitioner’s application for parole is still pending before the Competent Authority. 4. Accordingly, let the Competent Authority decide the application within a period of 2 weeks. 5. With these directions, the petition stands disposed of. This is a digitally signed order.
