Through this petition, the petitioner seeks the expeditious disposal of Complaint No. 20/22, filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, P.S. Jaidpur, District Ambedkar Nagar, pending before the Civil Judge, Jr. Division, Tanda/Judicial Magistrate, Ambedkar Nagar. Learned counsel for the petitioner submits that the complaint under Section 138 of the N.I. Act was filed on 08.10.2022, and the accused were summoned on 02.08.2024. Despite several dates being fixed and bailable warrants were issued on 13.09.2024, the accused has not appeared before the trial court and is not cooperating in the trial. Therefore, it is prayed that the proceedings of the case may be expedited. In view of the above, the petition is disposed of with a direction to the trial court to make every endeavor to conclude the proceedings of Complaint No. 20/22, filed under Section 138 of the Negotiable Instruments Act, P.S.
