Talukdar, learned counsel for the applicant. This application is filed by the applicant seeking impleadment of opposite Page No.# 2/3 party Nos. 1 and 2 as respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in the Cont.Cas(C) No.313/2024. It is submitted that the direction contained in the order dated 15.06.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 3797/2020 has not yet been complied with, although due communication has been made before the concerned authority. It is further submitted that the respondents in the Cont.Cas(C) No.313/2024 have remitted their offices and consequently the present incumbents are required to b arrayed as party respondents as the directions contained in the order dated 15.06.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 3797/2020 has not yet been complied with. It is submitted that the earlier incumbent had remitted their offices and new incumbents have been joined in their places and since it is submitted that the directions contained in the order dated 15.06.2023 passed in WP(C) No. 3797/2020 has not yet been complied with, this Court is of the view that the Interlocutory Application should be allowed permitting the petitioner to implead the opposite party Nos. 1 and 2 as respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in the Cont.Cas(C) No.313/2024. Accordingly, the interlocutory application stands allowed the opposite party No. 1 namely Shri Virendra Mittal, IAS, The Commissioner and Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, General Administration Department, Dispur, Guwahati- 781006 and opposite party No.2 Shri Pabitra Ram Khound, IAS, Secretary to the Govt. of Assam, Water Resources Department, Assam Secretariat, Dispur, Guwahati-781006 are arrayed as respondent Nos. 3 and 4 in Cont.Cas(C) No.313/2024. The interlocutory application stands allowed without issuing notices as the opposite parties upon their impleadment will be given adequate opportunities to file their necessary affidavits and make necessary submissions before the Court.
