1. Vide order dated 03.11.2025, this Court stayed the impugned notice subject to deposit of 50% of the demand within a period of three weeks.
2. On 08.12.2025, it was reported by the learned counsel for the petitioner that the petitioner had deposited approximately Rs. 39 lacs and would deposit the balance to make it 50% of the amount due as on 03.11.2025, within a period of one week.
3. A period of one week has expired, and as per the instructions reported by the learned counsel appearing for the respondent-Bank, no amount has been deposited. Possibly because of non-compliance of the directions by this Court, the petitioner has decided to abandon this petition. There is no representation on behalf of the petitioner today.
4. In these circumstances, we are left with no option but to dismiss the petition and permit the Bank to proceed ahead for recovery of its amount through legitimate means. Ordered accordingly.
